BMW has launched a unique project to showcase its latest electric vehicle, the BMW i7, in a creative and artistic way. The company has commissioned four local artists to transform four BMW i7s into mobile artworks that will circulate on Stockholm's streets for a month.
The project, called "BMW i Art Cars," aims to highlight the design, innovation, and sustainability of the BMW i7, which is the brand's flagship electric sedan. The BMW i7 combines luxury, performance, and efficiency, with a range of up to 600 kilometers and a power output of up to 530 horsepower.
The four artists who participated in the project are:
- Andreas Wannerstedt, a motion designer and animator, created a geometric pattern inspired by the BMW i logo and the car's aerodynamic shape.
- Amelie Hegardt, an illustrator and fashion artist, used organic shapes and colors to reflect the car's natural materials and low environmental impact.
- Johanna Burai, a graphic designer and illustrator who, explored the concept of movement and speed with dynamic lines and gradients.
- Martin Bergström, a textile designer and artist who, used recycled fabrics and embroidery to create a patchwork of textures and patterns that represent the car's diversity and craftsmanship.
