Mercedes-Benz is known for its luxury vehicles, but the German automaker is taking it to a new level with the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV, a concept car that combines elegance, comfort, and sustainability in one stunning package.
The Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV is based on the Mercedes-Benz EQS electric sedan, which debuted earlier this year as the flagship of the Mercedes-EQ brand. The SUV version adds more space, features, and exclusivity to the electric platform.
According to Mercedes-Benz, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV is designed to offer a “first-class travel experience” for its passengers, with a spacious and refined interior that features high-quality materials, ambient lighting, digital art, and a panoramic sunroof.
The SUV also boasts a range of innovative technologies, such as a biometric authentication system that recognizes the driver and passengers by their fingerprints, voice, or face. The system can then adjust the settings and preferences for each individual, such as seat position, climate control, entertainment options, and massage functions.
The Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV also features a rear-seat entertainment system that includes two 12.3-inch touchscreens and a 31.5-inch OLED display that can be used for watching movies, playing games, or video conferencing. The SUV also has a 27-speaker Burmester surround sound system, creating an immersive acoustic experience.
The exterior of the SUV is equally impressive, with a distinctive design that showcases the Maybach identity. The SUV has a two-tone paint scheme, a chrome-plated grille with vertical slats, and 24-inch alloy wheels. The SUV also has an illuminated Maybach logo on the rear pillar and a light band that connects the LED headlights and taillights.
